list of circuit simulation softwares

Can anyone list out the most commonly used circuit simulation software’s available in market?

commonly used circuits

I always use ISIS that included in PROTEUS VSM.
This is Very powerful for me.

Depends what types of circuits. Multisim an Proteus works well on general circuits but not so well on RF. I often use 3 types depending on the circuit. RF often require a non-linear simulator to get accurate results. For high frequencies a EM solver may be needed as well.

List of popular software
(general):
Multisim (supports MPU - slow)
Proteus (supports MPU good)
LTspice (FREE) https://www.linear.com/designtools/software/#Spice
Orcad
TinaPro
Microcap

(RF) "Expensive"
Ansoft (Also free student version)
Micro Wave Office
ADS/Genesys Agilent

There may be more but these are the ones I have used before.

Though there are many circuit simulation softwares out there... I believe Orcad PSpice will be the most commonly used simulation tool for DC and low frequency applications... Agilent ADS will the best for RF
