about RS code decoder - error only and error and erasure

about RS code decoder

hello everybody,
can any one tell me about the "meaning" of RS code decoder included "error only" and "error and erasure"? Or maybe you can tell me the difference between them, thanks! Otherwise, if you know the "Berlekmap algorithm", please tell me the procesure of decoder about "error and erasure"!

one of the difference in application field is
- error only: max number of error data package that can be recover is fix
- erasure: max number of error data package that can be recover is depend on the transmission parameter
