gsm at command bulk sms

Hi,
I am using External GSM/GPRS Analogic Modem. We are trying to send bulk sms through it.So is their any AT command is present for sending bulk sms.We are doing on Linux Distro.
Or I needed to install any package for sending bulk Messsage.

Thanx,

command for sending bulk sms

can somebody suggest some thing on above post.

Sending Bulk SMS

I'm not aware of any GSM modem that supports sending Bulk SMS messages - the standard GSM commands don't support that. Unless Analogic has a proprietary command for that (which is unlikely), you'll have to resort to a program running on the computer.

Re: Sending Bulk SMS

Some Idea,

I've done one project that send bulk SMS with GSM modem. The project is on MS windows platform. I create dedicated server with web services that can accept the sender+msg+phone and store the information in db. That web service portion is written as asp.net web service.

The SMS sender is a windows service that look for db trigger and send out the SMS than put the log in DB for send time. This service use standard com port to send the SMS with AT command. The GSM modem that i use is USB base and driver created a virtual COM port for GSM modem.

I hope you got some idea.

Regards,
