Hello-
I'm trying to source the black part circled in my attachment.
I don't know what it's called and so am having a bit of trouble finding it.
I made one of these once with parts from Radio Shack called photo transmitter and infrared LED but would really like something in once piece as shown.

Hai Nora, I can supply the said component. But it will be still better if you can read the part number and let me know here on the forum. If the original part is not available, i can send a near substitute for that. Also please let me know where you stay and what quantity you require.
 

If you require only one, you can build it with an Infrared LED and photo didode placed face to face. Good luck.
