Hi
I have PIC16F877A microcontroller and i want to program it, i have found many designs on the Internet for Programmers which can be used to program it, but i donot know if they are trusted or not.
Can you recomend me a Programmer which is easy to build and working proberly and i prefer if you have tested it by your self.

thank you but I want the PIC16F877A programmer, the programmer you suggested only fit the PIC 84A, so if you have any 877A programmer, they would be very useful.

but our colege mr_anderson use 877 and probably (until now) don't have any pic programmer, that lousy JDM style programmer is good solution for him for a little money and 877 class,

You may try building Junebug from Blueroom electronics whose schematic is attached here, or get a cute tiny programmer for PIC devices, available from **broken link removed**
