Hi Friends,
I having few doubts regarding the design suits used to program various FPGAs

Like ....
Quartus - Design suite for Altera devices
ISE - Design suite for Xilinx devices

what about FPGAs like

Actel
Atmel
Lattice
Quick Logic etc...

which softwares are free to use...

Thanks & Regards
Venkat

Well you should definitely look at synplicity's products like Synplify pro. They support many fpga vendors.

I think, competition is forcing FPGA vendors to offer free tools at least for small and medium size FPGA. Lattice e.g. has ispLEVER Starter, operation isn't as intuitively as Altera Quartus, cause it's a combination of different tools (similar to Xilinx ISE), but good quality

THank you soo much .... I will try for ispLEVER and synplify pro for Lattice

How about other free software for FPGA ... Can anyone list out

Thanks & Regards
Venkat
