hi..anyone here know how to determine whether the antenna is perfectly circular polarized or elliptical..can someone explain more about this..
thnx..

CP is determine by the Axial Ratio (AR) of the wave that an antenna radiates.

In practise, if AR <3dB, means the wave is CP.

thanx for replyin..instead of axial ratio plot..is there any ways to prove that the antenna radiates in circular polarization instead of linear or ellips..
thanx

Hi friend,

see this tutorial it is very useful

here i attached my results..hope someone explain my plot in term of circular polarization..how to read the plot..mny thanx

in CST,try to get RHP,LHP,if there is ratio above 10 dB,then ur pattern is circular polarized
