pa interstage match

im a newer about the circuit, i want to know how to design the interstage matching network to maxmize the gain of two stage power amplifier.the gain of the two stage transistor is 14dB and 15dB when is the predicted gain of the whole circuit?
please recommend some books or material, thanks a lot!

pa matching with loss

you can read the book
Microwave transistor amplifiers By Gonzalez.

keep in mind we have multiple ways to match one impedance to other .
Most of the systems talk abot methods for arbitrary impedance matching to 50 ohm.
In your case you can use this method say T1out impedance to 50 ohm in cascade with 50ohm to T2 input impedance. This may require lot of circuit components or elements.
Observe the complex conj of T1 out and T1in. if they are very close then the number of eliments required for matching is may be 1 or 2.
For a power amplifier it is unlikely that these values at close. So they do the method of T1out --> 50 ohm --->T2in.
For LNAs and driver amplifiers they do not follow the above method they just do T1out--->T2in

impedance match interstage

thank you, there is also a question, what's the proper value of the VSWR of S11 and S22?and the S21 is a little excursion compared to the center frequency,i have optimized the circuit with ADS but did't resolve that, how to do with it ?In order to make the circuit work properly when fabricating, are there something to be paid attention to?

interstage match

Typically we talk about having a return loss of better than -10dBm or VSWR of better than 2:1. I've (intentionally) built amplifiers that traded return loss for additional bandwidth, gain and/or output power.

As your return loss gets worse, the efficiency, gain and output power of your amplifier degrades.
