Hi all,

I have one little problem in my work.

By using the Calculator I'm able to calculate the frequency of my signals. Since the calculator measures an average value, the frequency calculated is a little bit different from the expected one.

Who can tell me how can I indicate some markers, between which the calculator measure the frequency ?

Thanks

use clip to indicate ur window

use psd or fft or pss

fft function not found I have only the dft function.

How can I get the fft function ?

Doesnt the freq command in the calculator do the job for you? It plots the running frequency.
Or else if you want to take the fft, use the dft function (fft is just an algorithm to do dft) and indicate the window over which you need the dft to be done.
Or run a pss sim to get a very accurate spectrum.

As far as I know, freq function plots frequency vs time. Could you explain the relation with fft ?

What is the relation between fft and dft, fft and psd ?
