need help (SoC Encounter load lef file error)

lef file in encounter


Hi everyone,

I am using SoC Encounter and I have an annoying error appears when I load lef file,
I am facing this error for the first time and I performed the layout process for many designs,

the error is like this:

**ERROR: Load LEF file /socex/counter2/CORELIB.lef failed
Loading Lef file /socex/counter2/CORELIB.lef...
***ERROR*** <MANUFACTORINGGRID has defined before UNITS> at line 10
Last token was <UNITS>
**ERROR: Error found when process LEF file '/socex/counter2/CORELIB.lef'

Could anyone please give me a hint about how to solve this ?

encounter lef file

You need to post +/- 10 lines above and below of the lef file. It seems to me that some one has played with the lef file. Is this lef file directly from the foundry or have you generated this lef file?
 

why .lef file in soc encounter

The lef file is directly from the foundry - this is the AMS design kit
