Hi, this is anant here. I am new to this bluetooth field and its architechture. I have some doubts related to the architechture of a general bluetooth module.
1) What are the types of bluetooth module available? What is GSM bluetooth module, OEM bluetooth Module, etc..?
2) What do the layers such as RFComm, L2cap, HCI etc.. in the architechture of the bluetooth module represent? And how many more of such kind of layers exist..?
3)What does one mean by supported profiles such as SPP, DUN, SDAP, GAP, etc..??
4)Whts the difference between all these possible layers and profiles..?? Why are the named so..?
Does all these layers and profiles hve specific working conditions and commands and applications..?? Why??
5)What is Link Manager Control ??
6)Regarding interfacing i am having few queries which i will ask later on if m unable to find out, but m willing to know whether can we interface any microcontroller with bluetooth module..?? wht can be d reason behind that..??
I shall be glad to get this knowledge as early as possible..
Thanks

wait for someone else for the answers for your other questions,I would comment on this.

A) yes.you can interface a microcontroller with a Bluetooth module.
National semiconductors LM9838 is one such BT chip which can be interfaced with uC
for further details, you may please visit:-

B) and what could be the reason behind what?
