TTL-LEA-4H GPS interfacing with AVR

lea gps interfacing with avr

Hi
I recently buy one TTL-LEA-4H GPS.
it has four pins on one module. GND-VCC-TXD-RXD
I connect GND and VCC=3v to this module . I check txd pin of this module by Oscope.
but it didnt send any string about its information.
I check it with one active antenna and without it.but I cant see any signal on txd. only for one time I accidentaly see gps information on lcd and have signal on txd . I suggest that I must send request to gps through rxd pin of gps to have responce.

please help me...
