I want to analyze the power transmission between an antenna pair: the transmitting antenna and the receiving antenna. These two antennas may be placed apart with a large distance satisfying the far-field condition. This would be like an electrically-large problem, huh. I wonder which EM simulator is suitable for this task? Thx.

For such kind of problems you definitely need to use MoM code. You can review following MoM-based product - **broken link removed**

You should also review FEKO.

It's a MoM based code, so transmission over long ranges are done without phase dispersion. I think they have "ideal" receiving and transmitting antenna that uses far-field patterns instead of whole antenna in simulation to save time and memory.

I think CST is also good as it have a special solvers for large electrical problems..
