Hi Friends,
I need to what are the synthesis software that Both Altera and Xilinx supports.
Like ISE 8i.... etc

which of these two can connected to cadence or synopsys for RTL Code synthesis, place and route ... that is can be using in Backend flow....

Is there any free software available for Altera and Xilinx for synthesis its RTL code and download in to these FPGA Kits...

It will be helpful for me if you explain clearly...
