We are trying to develop a humidity sensor with cybersen chr01 data sheet of this sensor is here

Can anybody give some inputs about how to use the sensor.

is it a capacitive sensor Can I Buid a 555 oscillator with it to measure the frequency variation according to variation.

Any other sutable suggestions are welcome

chr01 humidity sensor

Hi,
The catalogue does not give any characteristic curve for the device. Hope you have it . It also talks of inpedance variation and not capacitance variation. May be you can use the device in an AC bridge configuration and measure the voltage across the device to calculate the impedance, provided you have full details of its behaviour with respect to humidity.
