Hi,

Sometimes tha defined output parameters are not saved in ADE state files, or they are not loaded. defined variables and simulation and all other settings are loaded, but not the ouptut parameters. Does anybody have similar experience and how to avoid it or recover the output parameters?

Thanks

What do you understand as "output parameters"? The simulation output result values? Or variables to change the output values? You know you have to check the appropriate boxes before saving and loading?

By output parameters, I mean the functions that I define for post-processing the simulated waveforms, e.g., value(abs(dft(...)) 1G).

In the cases hat I mentioned, sometimes it does not let me select all the boxes, as a reslut it does not show the defined outputs (output functions/equations). But, in some cases, although I select the "outputs" box, it does not still show the outputs.

Re: state files in cadence not saved completely

Yes you're right: this seems to be a bug of the waveform program. However, if you selected to save your outputs, you should still be able to display the "direct" output and then do the post-processing via the calculator. I know this is only a work-around, but I don't know better :-(

Thanks for your reply. I actually, care more about the eduations, than the waveforms, as I have manu complicated equations..., but waveforms can be obtained by re-simulating.

Thanks.
