Problem in PADS2005SP2

Hi All,

Rightnow I am working in PADS2005 sp2 version . I had problem in drill chart in CAM settings. Actually the number of drill count(6mil drill) present in the drill drawing options is 697 but when I preview this it will be reduced to 634. But when I import into the cam350 the drill is 697 only. But in the drill chart it will again reduced to 634.

Shortly the the drill count generated from pads vs gerber output drill chart not matches. But other drill counts are matches. Only this 6 mil drill varies. Please let me know how to correct this or else I miss anything.

Regards,
monolisa

Problem in PADS2005SP2

one of the reason may be:

overlapping of two drill holes..(this is used when u use some optional components)

if this is the case ,dont worry with the mismatch between PCb tool and gerber tool

Re: Problem in PADS2005SP2

Yes, I have two types of drill(blind vias) in the same location...i.e overlapping...if so the only option is to change them manually in the gerber tool.

u can change it gerber also.

if u don't change it,Fab(if u r directly dealing) will put one query to you, that drill holes are not matching ..
