simulink delay spread

Hello all!

i am using fading channels in simulink and i was wondering if there is an easy way to calculate various delay paths from a given RMS delay spread.

Any answers welcome!

thank u :)

Re: simulink delay spread

You can use the worst case scenerio based Delay spread. If you want to simulated Flat fading the time delay of the multipath components should be very less (atleast 100 time smaller than the symbol time). If you want to simulate Freq-Selective fading, just make sure that the delay of the multipath components is larger or comparable to your symbol time. If you're using BPSK than Symbol time is 1/bitrate at which you are simulating

I hope this provides a solution to you
