so plz give me the useful detail about its:

N/W architecture

standards[/b]

EVDO is a CDMA wireless 3G data standard defined by QUALCOMM (QC).
It has been widely deployed successfully in many countries already.

It is a successor of the 2.5G Voice standard from QC named 1xRTT.

Both these standards have the same chip rate and hence occupy the same bandwidth of 1.23 MHz. This is one of the greatest advantage of EVDO as the RF infrastructure used for 1xRTT (which is already deployed) can be very easily upgraded to EVDO with very minimal changes.

Regarding technical aspects of EVDO max Downlink throughput is 3.1Mbps and max Uplink throughput is 1.8Mbps. Strictly speaking the Downlink is mostly TDMA whereas Uplink is pure CDMA in EVDO.

Downlink is done at full sector power always in EVDO (no power control). Only in the uplink power control is used.
