I am undergrad. I need to measure microwave freq 2.45GHz. My dipole have only calibrated till 1 GHz. So. I went to lab to calibrate the antenna to 1 to 3 Ghz. let say my calibrated antenna gain is -8.4729998dbi. how to convert this to db? I understand that meaning difference between dbi & db. But I still dont know how to figure out the problem. My measurement value using uncalibrated antenna is 10uW. So, what should i do to get the absolute value by getting the antenna gain of -8.4729998dbi. pls help me.
