RF for FPGA

Hi all
I am implementing wimax physical layer ( not all blocks) on spartan 3A kit,
I want to send data through RF module and receive it on another kit.

I don't know about RF modules and their abilities, if you have any information about this please write it down.

if you know RF types , cheap supplier please write, that may help.
