antenna requirement

Hi All,

I plan to do master degree in Antenna for Wimax application. i need your guidance on the list below:-

1) Should i go for mobile or fixed antenna for wimax?

2) What kind of specification and limitation for either both above, for example frequency, size, type of antenna (array, patch, monopole) in order to meet wimax requirement.

Thank you in advance
best regards.

What wimax antena used for?, in CPE or BTS, maybe if in BTS you can use many kind of antenna, maybe array of panel antenna system (you can google, there is many kind of wimax antenna), in CPE you can use microstip antenna maybe with 2 or more antenna for suporting MIMO, and you can simulate in HFSS for band frequency wimax you used (maybe 2,3Ghz, 2,5GHz, or 3,5GHz)

you can read:
1. Fundamental of wimax
2. WiMAX: Technology for Broadband Wireless Access (Nuaymi)
3. Mobile WiMAX - Toward Broadband Wireless Metropolitan Area Network

sorry if my answer did not please you

hi.....i am doing working on my final year project which is about wimax..
i need about the wimax frequency bands because there is two types of frequency band one is licensed and other is unlicensed. can any one tell me can i use licensed band because unlicensed frequency is very high it is difficult to generate ,how i can generate above 5GHz.

can i use discone antenna for wimax. how frequency range can be.
