simvision connecting to simulator

it cann't display waveform on Linux.perhaps,it is linux X11 problem.

how to set it?

did u setup the LD_LIBRARY_PATH correctly?

Hum! You should tell exactly what it your problem. Can you run SimVision separately? Yes or No?
if no, the reason may be a license file you as our friend said, LD_LIBRARY_PATH or some thing like these. in this case you should be able to solve your problem easily.
The second case I think is when, SimVision can be run separately but it can be linked with the simulator. As far as I know, SimVision uses some kinf of socket for connecting to the simulator. I have seen this case in many computers with ldv 5.0 running on them, but not connected to and network. again this problem can be solved easily by installing some kind of virtual ethernet adapter. some thing like what VMWare installs for itself.
