Thread: Replacement for a SK 100 transistor

Hello i am implementing switching ckt bt i am no able to find SK100 transistor. plz tell me the replacement of tis transistor with any other of same specifications.

It is a pnp transistor i believe
you can use BD138
though darlington, it would work. lesser bias current is needed as the gain is high gain device

if the current demand is less like 250mA. Perhaps 2n5401 /2n5551 depending on the polarity would also be useful

In case you are from India, the same device is available f as CK100, BEL100P, etc

sl100 - 2n4033, 2sc1384, bc337

SK100 is a PNP and 2n3019 is a NPN . then how it will be a correct replacement?????

Ic=500 mA
Vce=50V
Vcb=60V
Veb=5V
Pd=800 mW
A general purpose PNP

BC640........... TO92 case
Ic=-1000 mA
Vce=-80V
Veb=-5V
Pd=1W
A general purpose High collector current PNP.

Works very nice in switching applications.

Oops!! Sorry, that was a typo. Just interchange 2N3019 and 2N4033 above.
