What cmpanies make the best ICs (with softwares tools) in ZIGbee market?
TI? Ember? ATMEL? or others?

em260 firmware

I would vote for TI,while ember is also good
from the RF perspective

zigbee ics

TI have a zigbee software stack that is free but works only with TI MSP430 microcontroller !

a MSP430 micro+ TI zigbee stack 2007 + CC2520 seems to be a good solution in RF and software, what is your idea?

Ember EM260 can be used with any micro, this is seems to be nice.

But ATMEL free stack and its manual data is not clear in its site, where can I find direct link?

what of them are low cost?
what of them provide better RF transceiver quality?

Re: ZIGbee ICs ?

Hi,

You can find em260 from ST Microelectronics on the name as SN260. They also offer a module around it :SPZB260. There is a firmware library for use with ST Microcontrollers as well.

Robert
