hello friends i am doing my degree project in fingerprint matching but stuck because of false minutiae that come during image enhancement stage. minutaie incldes bifurcations and endings. False minutiae degrade matching performence too much because correct point or minutiae in test image may match with incorrect minutiae or point in database/stored image. Plz help me out and provide me matlab code for removal of these false minutiae from fingerprint image. This false minutiae removal algorithm is usually executed after thinning stage in fingerprint enhancement. minutiae are extracted after thinning but provide me code to remove incorrect or false minutiae.
