I'm interested in designing binaural beat generator using microcontroller. Any sound chip suited for this task and available for online purchase ?

Further more one more chip i have found in those days called protalk
part number pt2030

Apology about the searching thing.

However, I need info on chip capable of FM synthesis (to generate arbitary waveform) with minimum 2-channel (L&R) audio range with about 0.01Hz resolution, under digital control. The functionality is similar to DDS but most DDS chip are too expensive because they handle waves in MHz range :(

There was the SAA1099 from Philips but it's now obsolete. Any equivalent?
