Re: i need a comment

Hello,

I am designing a low pass Gaussian filter with fc=1920Hz. I obtain this frequency but the phase margin forever is false.
The following pictures show the ideal response and the obtained one of this filter:

Can any person help me in this case and tell me how to modify the phase of this filter?

Best regards.

Now, i make an ideal simulation on Cadence using a filter butterworth_lp from rfLib. I obtain the following results.

Can any person tell me that the simulation results of my filter are true or false?

Best regards

Re: i need a comment

Hi M.B

for the first two simulation results, i think that the palcement and the definition of the filter differ in these tow cases.

for the last picture that you posted, the response depends on what are you expecting from this filter !!
