hi ,
what are softwares support for the ALTERA STRATIX 2 FPGA configuration.
and also tell me the procedure to learn to programming this fpga using either vhdl or matlab?
which one is n y?

@ltera fpga implemantation

The software to use for all Altera devices is Quartus II.
In order to download it you can use also only the programmer.

Matlab is not a language in which you can program an FPGA, you need to translate it in VHDL or Verilog in some way.

u can use ALTERA QUARTUSII 5 OR 7 VERSION SO AS TO IMPLEMENT IN ALTERA FPGA.
 

Please consider, that the free Quartus II web edition is only supporting EP2S15 from Stratix II family. You need a subscription version for larger devices. See for details **broken link removed**

quartus II and sdc, and vhdl , for high end fpga , if you are faimilar with c, then verilog
