hfss, filter, cavity

Hi,

I want to simulate a cavity filter inHFSS.
Which mode should I choose :Driven or eigen mode?

Thanks!

The eigenmode simulator best for the resonance structures but only in narrow band (close to resonance frequencies). The driven mode simulator works on the broad band, but not works properly on resonance frequencies. Try to combine this two modes for different freq. bands and for different stages of design.

Best regards,
Kit-the-great

So, how to combine these two modes for frequency sweeps?

Thanks
