Receiver Circuit

Hi

I have built an ultrasonic transmitter (using 40khz & 555).
I'm trying to build an ultrasonic receiver circuit and have the output displayed on 7 segs or LED displays.
What would steps would I need to take to build it.

Thanks

Re: Receiver Circuit

Please write more informatione about receiver's architecture employed. With this kind of Infos I could help you choosing a transductor suitable for your application

Re: Receiver Circuit

Hi mrm
The receiver circuit is for an audio receiver to receive signals from the transmitter and measure & display the frequency on displays.
Does this info help?

Re: Receiver Circuit

Specific questions:
1) Modulation employed
2) Data carryed on the channel (digital/controlling or analog)
3) Bandwidth required
4) A general idea of the protection need against blocking and intermodulation (or at least the operating environment)
5) Sensitivity (or Tx power and operating range indoor/outdoor)
6) Need to use channel protection protocol?
7)Need for mac protocol?
Bye
Mrm
