cadence and synopsys documents

Re: clock tree design

I remember that the Mentor Autologic synthesizer (the one was used before Le@nardo) had a very good document regarding Clock Tree synthesis.

It's the better for u perlayout clock tree before the other things. "H" tree is suggested.

clock tree design

Is there any specific text that discusses the
Steiner Tree apart from the docs that comes with
the s/w tools? Clock Routing, Global Routing etc.

Re: clock tree design

hi,
using magma tools or cadence clockwise to generate clock tree. they can use useful skew to improve the performance.

Re: clock tree design

you cann find clock tree synthesis in <digital design perspective>

and many other digital design books.
