i want to simulate Rectangualr DRA with probe feed coupling mechanism but there are still some error which i m unable to remove them.
plz help me how can i remove these error.these error are as follows.....

[error] Objects "ground" and "feed1" intersect. (6:22 PM Jul 29, 2008)
[error] Boundary Setup: An excitation must be defined in order to solve driven problems. (6:22 PM Jul 29, 2008)
[error] Solution Setup: No solution setups have been created. (6:22 PM Jul 29, 2008)

I think for the first error, you must cut off a piece of ground for the probe. The cutoff part's dimension is same as the probe (not the pin)

For the second error, you will draw another circle under the probe with the same radius then you will assign a waveport on this circle.

I have no idea for the third error but may be if you do the first two, it can be allright.

Good luck.

here now i remove all the errors but when a start simulate the structure then simulation is completed and then the return loss curve is not coming properly only a single dot is shown
i don't understand where is the problem .
plz tell me something abt this problem??????????

This is because you have only one frequency point in your analysis setup. Under analysis, you have setup1. right click on setup1 and select "add frequency sweep". Then define your start, stop frequency and step (or linear count). Now simulate the structure and you will find your expected curve.

You can upload your .hfss file, I can take a look at it and suggest something more.

Shameem
