different curves on one graph

Dear All,

There are two questions in my brian.

In HFSS v10, how to put different simulated curves into a graph as shown as the attachment ? Also, except for the simulated curves, how I can put the measured curve (obtained by equipment) into the graph ?

Thanks !:D

Hello

Is there anyone can reply me ?

Thanks !

I don't think you can do that with HFSS. You need other software like Matlab to plot that.

hi,
i used this method for my thesis, each simulated HFSS Graph file is opened with NOTEPAD (the amplitude is given w.r.t angle theta)and select & copy the data to a EXCEL sheet. also copy the measured data to the same EXCEL sheet, Select the data and make a Graph/chart.

i think you will be knowing where the HFSS Graph file is stored. but do not open the structure file using notepad.

Hi kwokhinglai,

You can use the function "Import Solutions" by right-click "Results" in HFSS (of course you have to export results for different simulation first), then you can plot different simulation results in one plot.

But my suggestion is using ADS to import touchstone file from HFSS, the plot visualization is much better than HFSS (at least in my point of view).
