i want an advice
i had worked in Encryption before
i made AES and DES using C# language
i got some papers from the net and made the programs
really i was very happy that they worked very well
but............
i don't understand why this use this operation and what is the security level they reach using this operation
a lot of questions i ask my self
then i found that i am like a machine have the paper and made the program without any understanding
what i want now is to understand every thing
that's to say to make analysis (crypto analysis)
can any body help
any papers any names of books and suggestions???

Applied Cryptography by Bruce Scheneier

A very nice book from the point of cryptanalysis.

But the logic of selecting those particular methods, for DES and AES, is only known to the authors. E.g., You won't find in any book, why S-boxes are shuffled in this particular way. Anyway, good luck.

thanks man very much
it seems to be a good book
now i made the AES system on C# and have a working one on matlab
i need to study the security
1-i want to know how can i make attacks on it ?
2-is there some statistics that shows how strong is system????
