Hello,
I just need to know the exact definition of (solution frequency) in HFSS?

Solution frequency means the (center) frequency of your interest or where your curcuit is supposed to work. For example, it's the resonant frequency of a resonantor, or the center frequency of a bandpass filter.

HFSS will optimize the mesh to reach convergence criteria at the solution frequency and eventually solve the field at that particular frequency only. When you choose "interpolation sweep", the rest of the frequencies are interpolated based on the solved freq.

When you choose "fast sweep", HFSS will intelligently pick some other freqs to solve and then interpolates the rest.

When you choose "discrete sweep", HFSS will solve every frequency in the sweep, but it takes very long time.

All those sweeps above will only be calculated based on the mesh optimized at the solution freq.
