Using JK Flip-flops as the store, design a synchronous BCD counter in:
(a) Binary code
(b) Gray code

include state diagram, state assignment, state table, excitation (transition) table, KM, derived Boolean expression and complete logic-circuit diagram

i dont know anything about this I'm so dump please help me
I'm helpless.. I'll appreciate if anybody help me to do this please..

Thank you very much i appreciate for what you get for me..but i still don't understand how to do this. can you please help me..i don't know how to design bcd counter using jk flip-flop. i really weak in this subject and already fail 3 time. please help me in more detail...

i think most of the digital system reference books or textbooks will show the bcd counter example by FF.

u can refer the book written by moris mano or by Floyd. Digital Electronis and Microporcessors are the very interesting and easiest subject in the course of Electronics and communication.
i had taught this subject many times.
if u take only 2 jk flip-flops , tie both the inputs together , they now act as a T flipflop and apply common clock for both. now they started counting once u enable them.

HI

Also please see the other links on this page. These tutorilas should give you some ideas.
try searching "synchronous counter using jk flip flop" in Google.
Please let me know if this helps.
