pic16f887 programmer

Is there any program that supports programming the PIC16F887 under Linux, using a JDM programmer? I tried PikLab, and while it can compile programs for the 16F887, it doesn't support programming the device. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've found a workaround for this problem -- Wine. It seems that PICPgm, a very nice PIC programming software for Windows, runs perfectly under Wine.

I'm still hoping for a native Linux program that will do the job, though.

Hi,
now there is a Linux version of PICPgm availalbe:

Currently only the command line version has been ported to Linux, but it is planned to provide a GUI version also for Linux.
