Dear all,

I want to start using AVR´s. Can anyone advise me on a serial ISP cable?
I am going to use ATmega 168. Not for any special reason but because they are available for me?

any help for you guys is welcome!

Thanks for the great info it helped a lot. Have you got any ideas for an USB cable? Can it work with a FTDI(232) chip?

Do you want to programme EEPROM of FTDI FT232RL ..??

No it doesn't .. it is possible on pin changes but PonyProg won't recognize device you need other software.

about USB just test this Cable then will try our hands on USB.... :D
