Does Ubuntu OS support Octave?

hello friends,
i would like to find out whether Octave can run in Ubuntu operating system.

Sure!!

apt-get install octave gnuplot


or check using synaptic all the stuff u need with OCTAVE.

To execute it, just open an xterm terminal and write octave, done!! start using it.

You could also install the **broken link removed** GUI for Octave.
