How to start Helix in HFSS 9.0 (on attached example)?

Dear Friends,

I could not find out the example showned in @nsoft main link...

Please find the Helix example in the attached file )picture file...

Plese guide me....how to start Helix in HF$$ 9.o.....

And where can i find out

Ansoft HF$$ includes a macro library which can be used to parametrically define standard shapes such as:

helix geometries ????

HF$$ V9 has a helix generator within it. A monofiler helix using a cylindrical wire with a coax feed point is pretty sraight forward. Play with the helix generator a little bit until you are familiar with the interface.
If you are going to do a ribbon type element you realy need to pay attention to the connection to feed wires. There is offten an issue with connecting with thin elements.
If you are trying to get a handle on helix pattern performance using many variations you may want to use a wire and plate based program. (S*perN*c, WI*L, A*) Setup is generaly simple and the runs are quick.
