PA using selected NPN transistor

how can i design a PA using specific NPN transistor? newbie in microwave office
 

Hello handsprince,


First select the device then follow th below mentioned instructions to simulate & analyse the Power Amplifier in AWR Microwave Office (MWO)...
Step 1: Get the IV Curves by placing the model & IV Curve tracer measurement block--If these results are matching with data sheet results then
Step 2: Build the small signal ideal Biasing Circuit for the device & then get the S-parameters & see the expected gain & Return losses are matching or not then
Step 3: Build the Large Signal circuit with output & input matching network for the device & tune/optimize the network parameters to get desired output Gain, power, spectrum results then
Step 4: then build the layout & export it as Gerber/DXF file
