Hi all, I am using ICL8038 to design a sine wave generator of 40kHz? Can anyone draw out a simple circuit with this IC that is capable of generating a 40kHz sine wave.. The datasheet is found at the following website.

My question is why you choose just 8038 , there is much simplier IC for this
like 555 or other

555 will generate square wave not sine.

Where did you buy an ICL8038? It has been obsolete for many years.

Look at the datasheet and applications notes from Intersil who invented it.

Its was manufactured by another manufacturer called EXAR. And its cost me S$9.00 each.

The XR-8038A data sheet that you mentioned in your opening message has various example schematics beginning on page 6. Do you need more information than that?
