a APR problerm of Synopsys Astro

synopsys astro unit tile

Hi, all

i meet a problerm when i use Astro to do the APR, it;s distributed below:

axgPlanner
Fail to run Floorplanner due to failing to get unit's CellId!
Cannot perform requested operation.

please help me !

you probably :

1. you haven't prepared your starndard cell ref lib.
2. you didn't create a Cell.
3. you didn't bind verilog netlist to the Cell.
4. you didnt' create rows.

Hi,

Check ur reference standard cell lib has unitcell in it..

If not used auSetPRBrdy and create unit cell.

and other steps are OK.

i see there is a file called "unitTile_1" in the folder named "CEL" , i dont konw if it's correct !

Then u need to do either of this,

The technology file .tf must a have section TILE check that u change the name unit to unitTile_1.

or

Rename the cell as UnitTile using geSaveAs command.
