reflector antennas

i doing mine final year project on earth station design and i need to design parabolic refletor for c_band how can i work on that i can not understand kindly guide me

casigrain antenna

Fisrt you must selecta frequency (6/4GHz)
Then you must design the parabolic reflector using equation and then you must find the focal point of that dish
And finaly the feeder antenna followed by the transeiver must fixed to focal point of the dish.
That is the basic construction of the parabolic reflector antenna

You can think offset feeding, Casigrain feeding or other methods as well.

Refer,

You might consider Kraus' and Silver's books as starting points.

There is also a relatively inexpensive software package, Sabor, that will give you insight in how a reflector system works.

TICRA is also useful but definitely not for beginners.
