fmcw radar design

hi...
i need to design for rf part ( transmitter and receiver).where can i find source of infornmation on fmcw radar design

this is my parameter
To design and construct a polarimetric FMCW Imaging System. The proposed system should have the capability to measure the complex scattering matrices of distributed targets using FMCW system and produced a two dimensional image for the field measured.

System Parameter Design Considerations
System configuration FM-CW
Operating frequency C-band (5.3 GHz)
Measurement range 20 to 100m
s° dynamic range +20dB to –40dB
Signal Processor PC-based system
Sweep bandwidth, B 400MHz
Operating platform Ground based

Search in IEEE explorer.
Some papers might me available.
Also try google.com

Some basis for CW radars may be found in following books:

Merrill Skolnik:
Radar Handbook 2nd ed.

Nathanson, Reilly, Cohen:
Radar Design Principles 2nd ed.
Signal Processing and the Environment

tq..any other idea

My suggestion will be read skolnik book for concept
And Study IEEE papers. that will help you alot.
You have to refer FMCW material provided by professionals.
It is not easy task to design FMCW radar.
Oscilltor design & detector design is tedious job.
Best of luck

Is there any way to get IEEE papers related with FMCW radar. I am working on it so could you please suggest me how to get materials related with this topic.

Can anyone help me in the design of simple radar system which detects the range (1-10m) with operating frequency 4-8 GHZ.
