digital cng sensor

hi to every one
i have vehical suzuki mehran vx, ....and
i want to make a digital display for its cng pressure monitring ,and its engine temprature etc ...any one who have done or have any idea how to do it plz ....help me

digital cng display by using microcontroller

First you collect data as what's the maximum temperature your engines gets into and what's the maximum pressure your CNG cylinder has when it's full.
After this you search for the appropriate sensor. You have to buy the sensors that can accomodate more temperature and pressure than rated values. The other thing would be the installation, installing a temperature sensor is easy, whereas installing the sensor on the CNG kit could be tricky. The pressure sensor can be inserted on the Cylinder itself or on the GAS pipe, or on the Engine component itself. You may need to have a metal work like welding & cutting on the CNG cylinder to install it over there. I think it would be good if you can some how put the sensor on the CNG line. It's upto your decision, what sound the best.
Then do the manual testing, if those components are working fine. Then you use the microcontroller to get your desired reading. If your controller doesn't have analog voltage input, you then need to use the ADC alone, but I would suggest you to use controller that has built-in ADC.
I have seen cars fitted with CNG, that has 3-4 LED on them. Which indicates the pressure. I think that must be the pressure sensor indication, you see if it has enough resolution to give you an approximate PSI, then it will be very good.Otherwise you need to use some other sensor with good resolution.
But first you see if you can do the above, controller comes at the end.

thx for reply i will search about sensor but i want to use the bulit in cng kit of suzki mehran for this purpose
ihave no enough information about that kit can u help me about that kit

what is cng

Hahahaha....Good one

CNG is only popular among poor countries. It stands for Compress Natural Gas, most of the people can't afford Petrol to power up their vehicle, so they used CNG to run thier vehicle. Even it produces lower power and vehicle engines have to run at higher RPM to produce the same amount of torque generated when run on Petrol at lower RPM, this decreases the engine life dramatically.

In such contries, people often get stunned, when they come to know some body is driving his/her car on Petrol alone and they advises such person to install CNG in their vehicle, as petrol cost a lot. In such countries, most of the people buy vehicle with lower petrol consumption. You'll find more than 90-95% personal vehicle having a engine size of 800-1600CC only! People buy small cars with small engine.
