Hello Everyone;
What is LNB (Low Noise Block)? Which blocks are contained in it? Please explain fully.
 

LNB [hlp]

the LNB contains , 1) 2 LNAs for vertical and horizontal reception
2) gain stage
3)image rejection filter
4)mixer
5)2 LO for high and low band
6) IF filter
7) IF amplifier
8) control circuitry

Is it not required for a switch between two LNAs and two Oscillators in the block diagram? or any power combiner can be used?

the power combiner can be used , and the swithing action can be done with control circuit to turn on or off the LNA , or one of the upper and lower Oscillator
