i am a freshman in dc-dc converter, after study some textbook, i want to get the answer about:

if i have a dc-dc converter, take buck for example, the buck control is voltage mode, if i want a buck control is current mode, and the function of the buck do not change, my question is : are there some blocks which used in voltage mode can be reused in current mode? does it possible or need new design for the current mode?

thanks.

Bandgap voltage reference, comparator, Power transistor (both PMOS & NMOS) , Gate driver and SR latch can be reused.

agree with you shaq.....

i guess you are a senior in this part... can you tell me what is the relation among the sense crrent level and compensation level(ramp)and output of error amplifier(ve)....in current mode control...
thanks.

and temperature detector .I think many convertors have it.

yes...
can someone give me more solution?
