Hello,
I have problems with the Proteus simulation:
I have a circuit with as example the 74hc08 and the 74hc259 but if I simulate this I get the error, that no simulation model are exist.
What I have done wrong? :(

Thanks

see where is the library that contains those components . either the path is wrong or the libs are not there .. simple enough!

the library 74hcxxx.lib are in the lib folder. The path to this folder is set under system - set paths... - Library

There is no simulation model for 74HCT259 for 74HCT08 yes there is one.
Check CMOS databook to see if you can use a CMOS substitute
from the CD(MC)4000 series.

Hello..
I have look in the 4xxx, but the 8 bit addressable latch has no sim model.
I have in my models folder the following files:
-74xx259.dbc and
-74xxx259.mdf.

What is it?

I have downloaded many Spice models from this site. How I can use this models in Proteus. Can anybody give me an example, how I can make simulator models from spice models?

Thanks.

If you have a SPICE3F model and a schematic part the process of attaching one to the other is in the help.

Basically, you place the SPICE file in the ..\models directory, and add a PRIMITIVE. SPICEMODEL and SPICEPINS property to the part.

You can get the SPICEPINS by opening up the SPICE file in notepad or some such (typically found at the top of the file).

See the help for details (VSM Help - Index - search for 'SPICE').
